***THIS AMENDS THE PREVIOUSLY POSTED NPP NOTICE TO CHANGE THE ISP SPONSORSHIP PHONE NUMBER BELOW TO READ 613-998-8974 *** ________________________________________________ ADVANCE PROCUREMENT NOTICE CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW PAVILION QUEBEC CITY REGION (QC) (WITH SECURITY REQUIREMENTS) PURPOSE OF THIS ADVANCE PROCUREMENT NOTICE This is not a bid solicitation. This is an advance notice of a project with security requirements to provide interested contractors and subcontractors with an opportunity to apply for security clearances. Note that there is no guarantee that this project will proceed. DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT This project will procure the services of a general contractor in order to build a new 30 000 m2 building, including the parking area and the outdoor design, as well as the demolition of three (3) existing buildings in the Quebec City region. DESCRIPTION OF THE SERVICES The work under this contract includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the supply of labour, material, supervision and equipment necessary for the construction of a new building and the demolition of three (3) existing buildings. The estimated value for this project is approximately $ 90 000 000.00. It is anticipated that this procurements will be initiated in March 2016. This is conditional on the project receiving approval to proceed by the DND. SECURITY REQUIREMENTS Contractors will be required to hold a valid FACILITY SECURITY CLEARANCE (FSC) at the level of SECRET, issued by the Canadian Industrial Security Directorate (CISD), Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC). Sub-contractors, including special trade contractors, consultants accountable to the contractor and qualitative laboratories will be required to hold a valid FACILITY SECURITY CLEARANCE (FSC) at the level of SECRET issued by the Canadian Industrial Security Directorate (CISD), Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC). PROCESS Contractors and sub-contractors that do not meet the stipulated security requirements and that are interested in submitting a bid for this procurement can apply for the security clearance through the Industrial Security Program (ISP). This can be done by following the procedure on DCC’s website at the following link: http://www.dcc-cdc.gc.ca/english/contractors_consultants.html. Consultants/Contractors are asked to submit their request prior to July 15th 2015 quoting the following information: - Contract number HQ0683C1; and - Level of clearance requested to be sponsored for.
