Request for Standing Offer for Plumbing & Heating Services - AAFC , Indian Head Agroforestry Development Centre and Indian Head Research Farm

OBJECTIVE:
Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC) on Government Road, Indian Head, Saskatchewan has a requirement for a company to provide a Journeyman Plumber to provide labour, parts and material, tools and equipment, transportation and supervision for Plumbing and Heating Service work on an "as and when required" basis.  

The Contractor will be required to provide a Journeyman Plumber for maintenance and repair,   installation of new equipment and emergency service when equipment has failed.  

BACKGROUND:  
The Agroforestry Development Centre is located approximately one mile south of the Town of Indian Head. The Indian Head Research Farm is located east of the Town of Indian Head on the town perimeter road and serves as a sub-station to the Swift Current Research Centre. Facility related operations at both sites will be coordinated through the Research Farm. 

Both facilities operate on a five day basis from 0800 to 1630 hours, although some operations are conducted around the clock over extended periods of time.

SERVICES:
The services required are detailed in the RFSO document, Appendix B. AAFC anticipates to award a Standing Offer in August, 2015, for One (1) year, with an option to extend for up to Three (3) additional One (1) year option years. 

OPTIONAL SITE VISIT:
Companies have the option to view the site prior to July 2, 2015 by pre-arranging an appointment with the Facilities Officer.
