    Description of Work:
The Co-champions are seeking to staff an AS-04 equivalent position by a temporary incumbent to ensure the overall coordination of the already launched APN Pilot Mentoring Program which is part of the department Blueprint 2020 deliverables. The program is a pilot which began officially at the end of February and is scheduled to end at the end of February 2016.
The program involves 26 mentors and 40 mentees located in offices from coast to coast throughout the department occupying positions classified as CR-03 to EX-04. Although training and resources have been provided to participants as of March 2015, there is a need for ongoing monitoring of the program, ongoing training, issue management, feedback sessions, mid-term evaluation, ongoing development of new tools and support materials, coaching as required, communication of the program on a corporate level as well as the development and implementation of a comprehensive evaluation at the end of the program.
Ongoing, on site, consistent support has been identified as a priority by senior management in order to ensure that the momentum of the program is maintained and properly supported to ensure the success of the program.
This program has been identified as one of the key foundational pieces which will shape the departmental mentoring program currently being considered.
