Request for Response for Evaluation to Pre-qualify Combat System Integrators and Warship Designers for the Combat Canadian Surface Combatant Project PURPOSE This Request for Response for Evaluation (RFRE) is the first step of the Canadian Surface Combatant (CSC) Procurement Process to select, pursuant to the terms of a bid solicitation(s), a single combat systems integrator and a single warship designer for the CSC project. Every Respondent that has demonstrated compliance with the terms stipulated in this RFRE document will be a Short Listed Respondent and, subject to applicable security requirements, will be invited to participate in the ensuing CSC Procurement Process. SECURITY The CSC Procurement Process is subject to security requirements. ADDITIONAL NOTES Interested Parties are to note the following: A National Security Exception has been invoked for the CSC procurement. Canada retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement. Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
