Description
To provide the services to perform exterior grounds maintenance management for the National Research Council (NRC) sites located at the Uplands Campus (1920 Research Road), 2320 Lester Road, and Building U-99, 709 Greenbank Road near Fallowfield Road for a period of two year with the NRC retaining an irrevocable option to extend the contract for a period of two (2) additional consecutive 12 month periods in accordance with all the terms and conditions detailed in the Request for Proposal. MANDATORY PROPONENT’S MEETING At least one representative (and a maximum of two) from proponents that intend to bid must attend one of the mandatory proponent’s meeting August 18, 2015 or August 20, 2015. Meet Mr. Don Seabrook at 9:00 a.m. at the main entrance to Building U-61, 1920 Research Road, Uplands Campus of the National Research Council, Ottawa, Ontario. Bidders who, for any reason, cannot attend at the specified date and time will not be given an alternative appointment to view the sites and their proposals, therefore, will be considered as non-responsive. NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE. As proof of attendance, at the proponents meeting, the Contracting Authority will have an Attendance Form which MUST be signed by the bidder’s representative. It is the responsibility of all bidders to ensure they have signed the Mandatory Proponent’s Meeting Attendance form prior to leaving the site. Proposals submitted by bidders who have not attended the conference or failed to sign the Attendance Form will be deemed non-responsive. Firms intending to submit tenders on this project should obtain tender documents through the MERX services provider. Addenda, when issued, will be available from the MERX service provider. Firms that elect to base their bids on tender documents obtained from other sources do so at their own risk and will be solely responsible to inform the tender calling authority of their intention to bid. Tender packages are not available for distribution on the actual day of tender closing. The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement. The lowest or any tender not necessarily accepted. Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
