    Description
    Purpose
    
    The National Capital Commission (NCC) is proceeding with a request for Standing Offer Agreement (SOA) for the provision of office moving and installation services. The SOA term will be for two (2) years from award.
    
    Work Location
    Office moving services are to be provided mostly at 40 Elgin, and on occasion at 80 Bayview and 1740 Woodroffe Avenue locations in Ottawa.
    
    Scope of Work
    
    This request for SOA is for the provision of office movers to dismantle, install and relocate office furniture and equipment. 
    
    2.0.1	Personnel must possess expertise and must have at least a minimum of 1 year experience working with various furniture products ( specifically Steelcase, Global and Teknion furniture systems), and be able to accomplish various tasks normally completed by a handyman.  They must also be capable of:
    •	Installing single workstations or work on the installation of large multi-floor projects;
    •	Installing ergonomic accessories such as keyboard trays, motor arms, etc.;
    •	Adjusting work stations;
    •	Installing picture frames, bulletin and marker boards, etc.;
    •	Providing maintenance, lubrication, minor repair and adjustments of furniture and chairs;
    •	Logging and using NCC automated system and scanners to enter asset inventory information;
    •	Setting up and moving furniture for functions;
    •	Moving equipment such as refrigerators;
    •	Maintaining a storage room.

Bid closing date is AUG 7, 2015 at 3pm Ottawa time. Late bids will not be accepted.
    
    There is no public opening scheduled for this RFSO.
