    This requirement is for: The Correctional Service of Canada, Springhill Institution.
    
    Trade agreement:	This procurement is not subject to any trade agreement.

    Competitive Procurement Strategy: lowest priced compliant bid.

    Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: This procurement is not subject to a Comprehensive Land Claims Agreement.
    
    Security Requirements: This contract does not include security requirements.
    
    Nature of Requirements: 
    
    The following is a summary of the statement of work for this requirement. 
    
    The Correctional Service Canada has a requirement to keep all on-site appliances fully functional and operational.
     
    Objectives: The contractor shall provide on-site repair service, on an as and when required basis, to various makes and models to residential appliances located in the Housing Units at Springhill Institution. The contractor must comply with all Standing Orders, safety regulations and other regulations in force at the Springhill site where the work is to be performed. 
    
    Deliverables: The contractor must be available to provide on-site repair service to the below mentioned equipment on an as and when required basis within 24-hour notice from Laundry Manager.
    
    •	Washers (25)
    •	Dryers (25)
    •	Refrigerators (22)
    •	Freezers (8)
    •	Electric Stoves (8)
    •	Ice Machines (6)
    •	Water Fountains (4)
    The Contractor provides all tools required and all tools are checked through security upon arrival and departure from site.
    
    Work will be completed during regular work days of Monday to Friday from 0830 hours to 1600 hours.
    
    All work to be performed in English.
    
    No work can be started until authorization is given to do so by the Project Authority (Laundry Manager) or his / her delegate.
    
    All work will be performed subject to the inspection and acceptance by the Project Authority.  
    
    The Contractor is responsible for obtaining required parts for repairs.  Approval is not required for cost of repair parts.
    
    Expected Delivery Date: between September 1st, 2015 and August 31st, 2017.
