Description
The Federal Science Library (FSL) is a consortium of 7 Canadian Government Federal Science Libraries collaborating together to serve the research and access to knowledge needs of 35,000 departmental/agency staff, science and technical workers. To achieve its goal, the FSL must implement service infrastructure that will be shared by all its consortium members. As the technical lead, NRC will gradually add 5 new libraries to its current integrated library system: Sierra Innovative (run by Innovative Interface). This tool is currently used by NRC and Health Canada. This request is to acquire additional Innovative quantities and services for other departments/agencies who will be sharing the same library system.
