NOTICE OF PROPOSED PROCUREMENT
- The Department of Indian Affairs and Northern Development (DIAND) has the primary, but not exclusive responsibility for meeting the federal government’s constitutional, treaty, political, and legal responsibilities to First Nations, Inuit, and Northerners. Under this mandate, DIAND is responsible for the planning, design, implementation, and assessment of policies and the delivery of a variety of programs and services to First Nations, Inuit, and Northern peoples and communities.
- DIAND and Health Canada (HC) is partnering in a horizontal systems initiative project to: integrate the Health Canada SAP financial system with the Department of Indian Affairs and Northern Development Grants & Contributions Information Management System (GCIMS) solution and to adapt and deliver a version of the GCIMS solution to Health Canada and the Public Health Agency.
- It is intended to result in the award of 2 contracts for 1 year, plus 1 one-year irrevocable option allowing Canada to extend the term of the contract.
The project has a requirement for resources in the following areas of expertise and these resources will be integral members of the development team and will perform multiple IT development roles:
One (1) Level 2 – Tester (A.11)
One (1) Level 3 - Business Analysts (B.1)
One (1) Level 2 - Business Analysts (B1)
One (1) Level 1 - Business Analyst (B.1)
One (1) Level 3 - Business Transformation Architect (B.7)
