Description
- The Department of Indian Affairs and Northern Development (DIAND) has the primary, but not exclusive responsibility for meeting the federal government’s constitutional, treaty, political, and legal responsibilities to First Nations, Inuit, and Northerners. Under this mandate, DIAND is responsible for the planning, design, implementation, and assessment of policies and the delivery of a variety of programs and services to First Nations, Inuit, and Northern peoples and communities.
- DIAND and Health Canada (HC) is partnering in a horizontal systems initiative project to: integrate the Health Canada SAP financial system with the Aboriginal Affairs and Northern Development Canada Grants & Contributions Information Management System (GCIMS) solution and to adapt and deliver a version of the GCIMS solution to Health Canada and the Public Health Agency.
- The project has a requirement for resources in the following areas of expertise and these resources will be integral members of the development team and will perform multiple IT development roles:
One (1) Level 3 – Application/software Architect (A.1)
One (1) Level 2 – Application/software Architect (A.1)
One (1) Level 2 – Web Developer (A.14)
