THIS LETTER OF INTEREST (LOI) IS NOT A SOLICITATION AND NO CONTRACT WILL RESULT FROM IT.

Intent

The Government of Canada is seeking Letters of Interest from interested companies and individuals that have the capacity, capability and availability to provide facilities and/ or vacant land on behalf of Public Services and Procurement Canada.

The purpose of this posting is to generate a list of possible suppliers/owners that would be interested in being provided a copy of future solicitation(s) relating to the type of goods or services identified in the requirements described below.

The Government of Canada may, at its discretion, decide to only contact or solicit bids from the supplier/owners that have responded to this LOI.

Requirements

1. Facility Component

- Vacant Commercial, Institutional or Residential Motel, Hotel or Multiple Unit Buildings with a minimum of 12 units suitable for immediate occupancy. (On site kitchen, dining facilities, common areas, shower and bathroom facilities would be ideal but not essential.)

- Must be located within 400km of a major international airport in Ontario or Quebec.

- Close proximity to major transportation routes.

2. Land Component

- Vacant serviced land suitable for the installation of a building(s) minimum size of 1 ha (2.47 acres) and maximum size of 100 ha (247 acres).

- Must be located within 400 km of a major international airport within Ontario or Quebec.

- Close proximity to major transportation routes.

3. Information by the owner or the owner’s agent might include:

The location of the building, current zoning, area of space, a map, a site plan, details of services/utilities, a statement as to the nature of the respondents right on the land, a statement as to the owner’s interest (lease or sale).
