Description

Health Canada (HC) has a requirement for the analysis of approximately 1500 filters (~500 per year) collected between May 2016 and April 2019, with the possibility of two (2) additional one (1) year option periods. This requirement is also to conduct laboratory analyses to develop concentration–response relationships between NO2, O3 and depletion of the antioxidants glutathione and ascorbate in a synthetic respiratory tract lining fluid.

The deliverables under the contract will provide an excel database describing the results of the analysis for each filter. Each filter will have a unique identification number assigned by Health Canada. The Crown will own this database.

Suppliers who consider themselves fully qualified and available to provide the services or goods described in this ACAN may submit a Statement of Capabilities demonstrating how they meet the advertised requirement. This Statement of Capabilities must be provided via e-mail only to the contact person identified in Section 12 of the Notice on or before the closing date and time of the Notice. If the Bidder can clearly demonstrate they possess the required capabilities, the requirement will be opened to electronic or traditional bidding processes.
