    PROJECT TITLE: NCC – Steam Generation and Distribution / HVAC Upgrades

    The NCC – Steam Generation and Distribution / HVAC Upgrades consists of construction work in a historic site and buildings located in Ottawa, ON. The project consists of two packages. The General Contractor, awarded the work, shall supply, install and commission the work as outlined in the tender documents. Generally the work consists of:

    Package # 1: Steam Generation and Distribution Systems Upgrade

    Work of this package generally consists of, but is not limited to: replacement/conversion to hot water heating boilers systems c/w all related components; various related architectural, electrical, structural and mechanical work.

    Package # 2: HVAC Upgrades

    Work of this package generally consists of, but is not limited to: replacement/upgrades of the HVAC system; removal of an existing and associated piping and wiring; various related architectural, electrical, structural and mechanical work.

    MANDATORY site visit for General Contractors and the mechanical subcontractor will be held on Friday, April 29, 2016 at 9am Ottawa Time, or, Friday, May 6 at 9am Ottawa time. General Contractors and the Mechanical subcontractor must attend either one. The meeting place will be at (see google link) outside the gate off Princess Avenue, Ottawa, ON.

    All costs incurred by the Bidder to attend the site visit will be at their expense. The NCC will not reimburse any Bidder for expenses related to the site visit. To confirm your attendance at the site visit and to gain access to the grounds, please communicate with NCC Corporate Security at 613-239-5222 or securityscreening@ncc-ccn.ca at least 24 hours prior to the site visit.

    Please note that all visits to sensitive sites shall be coordinated with, and approvedby NCC Corporate Security.

    The site visit for this project is MANDATORY. The representative of the Bidder and his mechanical subcontractor will be required to sign the Site Visit Attendance Sheet at either site visit. Tenders submitted by Bidders who have not signed the attendance sheet will not be accepted.
