    Description of Work:

    Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC) has a requirements for one Project Manager (Level 3) resource for the implementation of My GCHR 9.1. The Project Manager, in consultation with the Project Authority, will coordinate and direct both VAC and the Public Service Commission’s (PSC) onboarding to the My GCHR v.9.1 standard.

    The Project Manager will be required to undertake, but not be limited to the following:

    • providing leadership, direction and advise in all aspects of the My GCHR implementation;
    • all project activities and plans;
    • resolution of project issues;
    • development of a communications strategy, action plan and execution; and
    • the daily activities of the project;

    The work is expected to start June 1, 2016 and be completed June 30, 2016. The Project Manager will be required to work from the PSC’s office in Ottawa, ON and the estimated level of effort is 270 days. Within this timeframe, the Project Manager will be required to travel to VAC’s Head Office in Charlottetown, PEI to participate in monthly meetings which will be 3-5 days in length.
