Operations Zone Redevelopment – Phase 1A – Buildings Demolition / Deconstruction
NOTICE OF PROPOSED PROCUREMENT
The National Capital Commission (NCC) will be inviting bids from qualified firms for the high recovery demolition/deconstruction of four (4) wooden buildings that will take place on a heritage site located in Ottawa, ON. The subsequent tender invitation will be published approximately May 27th and only be published for 7 calendar days from the publication date.
INTENT OF PROJECT
The work will include the high recovery demolition / deconstruction of 4 structures in accordance with and the tender documents while at the same time achieving the best value in terms of price, energy conservation, waste minimization and the use and promotion of the 3R’s (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) philosophy.
This work shall be performed in an environmentally sustainable manner maximizing the reuse and/or recycling of materials. All work shall be carried out in accordance with the tender requirements and the successful contractor’s accepted Waste Reduction Workplan (WRW).
SCHEDULE
Final Completion for the demolition must be completed no later than August 14, 2016.
