Description
The Department of National Defence (DND) requires the annual rental of two (2) co-located ice pads within the City of Ottawa, for an annual estimate of 726 hours during the period 01 September 2016 through 30 Jun 2017, with two additional option years.
It is DND’s intention to award a single contract for this requirement. The initial contract period will be from the date of contract award until 30 June 2017, and will include two option periods (one for the 2017/18 season (i.e. 1 September 2017 through 30 June 2018) and one for the 2018/19 season (i.e. 1 September 2018 through 30 June 2019)).
Bidders are to refer to the Request for Proposal (RFP) for the detailed requirement.
MANDATORY CRITERION
The Bidder must meet the following Mandatory Criterion (MC).
MC 1: The Bidder must adequately demonstrate in its proposal, that its facility contains a minimum of 2 co-located ice rinks within the City of Ottawa and that all of the requested dates and times (per the Statement of Work (SOW)) for the initial period of the contract and two one year option periods will be available for DND’s use.
The basis of selection shall be the compliant Bidder that offers the lowest-cost compliant proposal.
DND reserves the right not to award a Contract, regardless of the proposals received.
Where this notice and the RFP differ, the RFP shall prevail.
