Nature of Requirements:
The following is a summary of the statement of work for this requirement.
The Correctional Service of Canada (CSC) Health Services require the services of a psychiatrist to provide psychiatric assessment for release decision making for the sites (institutions and districts) in the Quebec Region.
Objectives: Provide psychiatric assessment for offenders at:
-Regional Mental Health Center located on 242, Montée Gagnon, Ste-Anne-des-Plaines (Qc) J0N 1H0;
-Federal Training Centre Institution (FTC sites 6099 and 600) located on 6099, boulevard Lévesque Est, Laval (Qc)H7C 1P1 and 600 Montée St-François, Laval (Qc) H7C 1S5
-Donnacona Institution located on 1537, route 138, Donnacona (Qc)G3M 1C9 ;
-Joliette Institution located on 400, rue Marsolais, Joliette (Qc) J6E 8V4;
-Archambault Institution located on 242, Montée Gagnon, Ste-Anne-des-Plaines (Qc) J0N 1H0;
-Regional Reception Centre (RRC-SHU) located on 246, Montée Gagnon, Ste-Anne-des-Plaines (Qc)
J0N 1H0;

Deliverables:
The Contractor must perform assessments for sharing with third parties including the Parole Board of Canada as requested by the Project Authority. These reports must meet CSC requirements and include, as a minimum, the following:
i. purpose of the report;
ii. social history (if not already on file);
iii. pertinent offense dynamic factors in relation to the mental condition.
iv. interview impressions;
v. psychiatric diagnosis, effect of the psychiatric treatment on behavior and risk, and attitude of the inmate toward psychiatric treatment;
vi. assessment of risk factors connect to the psychiatric condition, and risk management and relapse prevention plans that are related to the mental health condition of the assessed person.
