Description
RFAP – Source List for Architectural and Engineering Consultant Services, Various Locations across Canada.
Defence Construction Canada (DCC) is calling for abbreviated proposals from consulting firms to establish a Source List to provide “as and when required” professional services specific to Department of National Defence (DND) requirements in various locations in Canada, excluding Labrador and the Yukon, North West and Nunavut Territories.
The objective of this RFAP is to select a minimum of four (4) firms and up to five (5) firms, who will be placed on a Source List (SL) with DCC to provide services on an “as and when required” basis to a maximum estimated value of $35,000,000.00, for a period of three (3) years from the date of establishment. In order to meet the various linguistic requirements across different locations in Canada, the Source List will be established with qualified firms as follows:
-up to three (3) firms demonstrating capability in English;
-up to one (1) firm demonstrating capability in French;
-up to one (1) firm demonstrating bilingual capability (in English and French).
The number of firms selected for the SL may vary depending on the number of firms that qualify technically and demonstrate capability in the above linguistic categories.
If mutually agreeable between the Consultants and DCC, the SL may be extended for up to three (3) additional one-year periods, but at no time will total SL value exceed $35,000.000.00 over a six (6) year period.
The commissions under this SL will be valued at approximately $350,000.00 and greater.
The SL is not a commitment by DCC to spend the entire or any amount.
Information provided by the Proponents will be evaluated using the established criteria in the RFAP document. The technical criteria relate to achievements and experience, technical and managerial expertise.
This opportunity follows tendering procedures in accordance with Chapter 10 of NAFTA.
The Security Requirements for this project are identified in the Procurement Documents.
Firms that consider themselves qualified to provide these services are invited to submit their Abbreviated Proposal on the forms that are available from MERX at www.merx.com or by calling 1-800-964-6379.
To be considered, Abbreviated Proposals must be received at the following address, no later than 14:00 hours local time on August 16, 2016.
