Description of Work:
The IT Engineering and Maintenance section (SIAO) of the Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development (DFATD) requires the services of one (1) Applications Architect (System Center Configuration manager (SCCM) Product Specialist)
The scope of work under this contract includes but is not limited to the following:
- Design the Configuration Management Servers (CM) Architecture for GAC network based on windows 2008R2/2012 while storing the data on SQL 2008R2/2012.
- Design the Windows Server Update service (WSUS) Architecture for GAC network for windows 7/8.1/10.
- Install and configure the CM SIGNET-D development center in a virtualized environment that mimics the proposed CM SIGNET-D production environment.
- Install and configure the CM SIGNET-D in a virtualized (vmware) production IT environment.
- Present all technical documentation to the Technical Authority (i.e., SIAO Manager) for approval and inclusion in project records.
- Develop operations guidelines and operators guide for the administrations of the CM applications and servers and provide technical assistance to the Enterprise System management (ESM) Operations when required.
- Knowledge transfer off all tasks and responsibilities to the designated GAC staff member.
Bidders may submit a bid for one or all resource categories.
The work is currently being performed by SI Systems Inc. under contract (value $369,401.52 including taxes)
