Health Canada’s Tobacco Control Directorate (TCD) is seeking a qualified Contractor with experience in medical or health communications graphic design, package design and writing to undertake concept development, refinement, design and production of Health Warnings (HW) for tobacco product packaging.
The objective of the requirement is to develop and design new HW for possible display on packages of cigarettes, cigars, bidis, pipe tobacco, smokeless tobacco, waterpipe tobacco, and other tobacco products. Part of the work of the Contractor will be to create innovative concepts and/or designs of HW, within the boundaries of current tobacco legislation.
Health Canada (HC) plans on using the new HW in the development of future labelling regulations for tobacco products.
