This requirement is for the Department of National Defence.

This requirement is open only to those TBIPS Supply Arrangement Holders who qualified under Tier 1 for services in the National Capital Region for the following category:

One (1), I.10 Technical Architect – Level 3

    Description of Work:

    A Level 3 Technical Architect is required to provide advice, guidance and technical solutions on 12 priority projects/initiatives that have been identified to meet Departmental timelines.

    The Senior Technical Architect will analyze, evaluate, plan, and make recommendations in support of a number of projects and initiatives to ensure the integration of all aspects of the national-level concepts into technical solutions that can be implemented at the regional and local levels.

    The work requires advanced and specialized technical knowledge, along with project management skills, which will allow for timely delivery of projects and the development of frameworks and strategies to meet business requirements. Examples are analyzing and planning the IT strategy for DND’s move to the Carling Campus, the rollout of Windows 7 in the NCR, rollout and adoption of the E-mail Transformation Initiative, the Record Keeping Initiative, and the transition of 1st and 2nd level support of all unclassified and classified networks from various service providers to DND.

    Similar services are currently being performed by The Halifax Group Inc. under contract W6369-12-P5UF valued at $1,416,816.00.
