    Description of the Requirement:

    This bid solicitation is being issued to satisfy the requirement of the Department of Indian Affairs and Northern Development (DIAND) [the “Client”] for the provision of Task and Solutions Professional Services. It is intended to resulting in the award of one (1) contract for two (2) years, plus 1(one) one-year irrevocable option allowing Canada to extend the term of the contract.

     OBJECTIVE:

     DIAND requires consulting and advisory services as well as support from experts to develop an approach that includes a PE development strategy and program. The approach must address the needs of departments and particularly those of DIAND in human resources management by ensuring that it is aligned with TBS qualification standard requirements and the generic work descriptions of TBS/OCHRO and HRC. Emphasis should also be placed on the best practices of the Department and those of other departments in the development of PEs. The approach should also meet the Department's Aboriginal recruitment objectives (50%). The approach should be scalable so that in the future it can include employees who do not report directly to the HRWSB, but whose contribution could be beneficial to their career advancement as well as in achieving the Department's objectives.

    Proposed period of contract:

    The proposed period of contract shall be from Contract Award to September 30, 2018

    Estimated Level of Effort: 400 days
