Nature of Requirements:
The following is a summary of the statement of work for this requirement.
Objective:
The Correctional Service Canada, CORCAN has a requirement for up to three (3) Sales Representatives to provide outside sales and marketing services for CORCAN Industries’ products such as officer furnishings, modular workstation components and other items (excluding construction services). The territory covered by this Sales Representative will be the National Capital Region (NCR)
Tasks/Responsibilities
The Contractor must perform the following tasks but are not limited to:
- Act as a brand ambassador within the CORCAN Business Lines and the external marketplace.
- Responsible for leveraging the expertise of cross-functional business partners to achieve business goals.
- Prepare product presentations for prospective or existing accounts.
- Coordinate printing of marketing, and customer materials.
- Responsible for maintaining and developing CORCAN image in all Points of Sale.
- Develop and execute specific sales plans to achieve sales and margin targets.
- Establish and maintain relationships with customers based upon CORCAN/CSC values.
- Make sales calls to customers located within the Sales Territory to promote and sell CORCAN’s products and installation services.
- Broaden the customer base for CORCAN products and expand the territory coverage.
- Inform CORCAN of any new product or market related opportunities, which could enhance CORCAN's business.
- Consistently direct its efforts towards meeting or exceeding the annual sales projections and is expected to achieve at least 75% of each quarterly Sales Projection.
- Provide customer service as required before and after the sale.
Deliverables
The Contractor must provide the following deliverables:
- Provide completed Installation Checklist, example included may be modified to PA requests and legible sketch of modular furniture configuration to Inside Sales Support and Installation Services within 2 working days of meeting with customer.
- When layouts, drawings or specifications are provided by Inside Sales Support, obtain customer’s approval and send it to Inside Sales Support.
- Provide the PA, when requested, an up to date market profile, customer list and customer profile.
- Provide the PA with annual sales forecasts, quarterly marketing plans and ongoing reports on a quarterly and yearly basis or as requested.
- Provide Sales and Marketing activities within the Sales territory to promote CORCAN’s products and installation services for the duration of the contract.
- The deliverables will be submitted in either English or in French language.
- The format of deliverables will be determined by the P.A.
Expected Delivery Date: 1 year from contract award. This procurement also has 1 x 1 year options available.

The debriefing may be in writing, by telephone or in person.
