The objective of this work is to produce a set of preliminary recommendations intended to reduce distraction through addressing safe design, installation and use of in-vehicle displays. This is to be accomplished though critical reviews of available guidelines, standards and best practices; legislation and regulations; and technology trends and mitigation strategies/technologies.
