Description
The department of Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) has a requirement to collect aliquots of quartz-rich sand from the bagged chip samples of archived petroleum well cores available from the GSC, Suncor, and NEB archives at or near the base of the Beaufort Formation strata.
The vendor will thereafter prepare accelerator targets and measure 10Be and 26Al in quartz using accelerator mass spectrometry (AMS). Interpret the data using a 26Al/10Be burial method to compute the age of deposition
