Description of the Requirement:
This bid solicitation is being issued to satisfy the requirement of the Department of Indian Affairs and Northern Development (DIAND) [the “Client”] for the provision of Task and Solutions Professional Services. It is intended to resulting in the award of one (1) contract until March 31, 2018, plus one (1) year irrevocable option from April 1, 2018 to March 31, 2019 allowing Canada to extend the term of the contract.
OBJECTIVE:
The purpose of this project is to:
- Follow up on the recommendations identified in the fire inspection compliance reports and implement the recommendations in coordination with all DIAND Headquarters (HQ) and regional office across Canada: British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec, Maritimes (Nova Scotia & New Brunswick), Northwest Territories, Nunavut, and Yukon.
- Conduct asbestos surveys and prepare an asbestos management plans as per DP-057 in all buildings under DIAND jurisdiction (approximately 125 buildings).

Applicable Trade Agreements:
The requirement is subject to the provisions of the World Trade Organization Agreement on Government Procurement (WTO-AGP), the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), the Canada-Chile Free Trade Agreement (CCFTA), the Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT), the Canada-Peru Free Trade Agreement (CPFTA), the Canada-Columbia Free Trade Agreement (CColFTA), and the Canada-Panama Free Trade Agreement (CPanFTA).
Proposed period of contract:
The proposed period of contract shall be from Contract Award to March 31, 2018
Estimated Level of Effort:
The estimated level of effort of the contract will be for 320 days
