NOTICE OF PROPOSED PROCUREMENT
Title
Janitorial Services- Royal Canadian Mounted Police, M Division, Whitehorse
Requirement
The RCMP “M” Division has a requirement for janitorial services for the M Division Headquarters Complex which includes the Cells, the RCMP Hanger and the Emergency Response Centre/Operational Command Centre. The qualified contractor will provide all labour, materials, equipment, transportation and daily site supervision necessary to provide janitorial services in accordance with the Request for Proposal and Annex “A” – The Statement of Work for Janitorial Services, during the period of the contract.
A bid can be submitted in both official languages.
Proposed Period of Contract
The proposed period of the contract shall be for a three (3) year period from the date of contract award and one (1) optional period for a total duration of two (2) years upon exercising the option.
Trade Agreements
The requirement is subject to the provisions of the World Trade organization Agreement on Government Procurement (WTO-AGP), The North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), and the Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT).
Security
The contractor is required to have all personnel working on site to be security cleared at the level of Site Access as verified by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, Departmental Security Section.
Mandatory Site Visit
It is Mandatory that the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder visits the work site.
Bidders who do not attend or send a representative to attend will not be given an alternative appointment and they will be precluded from submitting a bid.
Evaluation
Bidders must be able to meet the all Mandatory Criteria outlined in the Request for Proposal (RFP). The selection will be based on the lowest price per point.
