Global Affairs Canada (GAC) has a requirement for household moving services for Canadian public servants arriving in or departing from Turkey mainly but not exclusively coming from or going to Canada. The objective of this Standing Offer is to obtain the professional services of up to two (2) Offerors for the provision of moving services for the international relocation of Canada Based Staff for the Embassy of Canada in Ankara and Consulate General in Istanbul.
The Offeror must be prepared to work at all the facilities/properties of the Embassy of Canada in Ankara and the Consulate General of Canada in Istanbul. The Offeror must be prepared to demonstrate flexibility to work after duty hours and during weekends to ensure completion of work as per schedule provided by the Missions on an as and when required basis by the Mission. The Offeror must be prepared to work on short notice for work of urgent nature.
Proposed Period of Contract
The initial period of the standing offer will span from the date of award until February 1st, 2018. The standing offer includes two option periods of one year each as well.
Security Requirements
At missions abroad, the Contractor and/or all other personnel involved in the work shall hold a valid personnel security screening level of reliability status or above for work to be performed in the Mission, Official Residence (OR) or Staff Quarters (SQ). The Contractor and/or all other personnel involved in the Work must be properly supervised on the premises of the Mission, OR or SQ.
Basis of Selection
Two (2) responsive bids with the lowest evaluated price per point will be recommended for award of Standing Offer.
