The Canadian Forces Health Services Group (CF H Svcs Gp) plans to establish a contract with an accredited university in order to award academic credentials and the associated baccalaureate degree to Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) Physician Assistant (PA) Program graduates.
For the purposes of this Request for Information (RFI), we are soliciting interest from any accredited university with a medical school that has an established, or that is intending to establish, a Physician Assistant Program. Any accredited university intending to submit a proposal for consideration must be compliant (or will be compliant upon delivery of this service) with the Canadian Medical Education Directions for Specialists - Physician Assistant (CanMEDS-PA) as supported by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC) and the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC). Further, any accredited university awarded this contract must achieve and maintain their PA Program accreditation with the future Physician Assistant program accrediting body.
