Description
Canada’s United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS) Program collected data in the Arctic Ocean to support the delineation of the outer limits of the extended continental shelf. Over the next two years, Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) has been tasked by the government of Canada to develop a scientific case for an extended continental shelf in the Arctic Ocean and make a submission to the United Nations’ Commission on the Limits of the Continental Shelf (CLCS).
