TITLE: Twelve Mile Lake Dam Reconstruction
DESCRIPTION OF WORK

A staged cofferdam strategy will be required to divert river flow around the work area and maintain operability of the dam throughout construction. Innovative construction techniques will be required in order to ensure of suitable work area and address all environmental mitigating conditions. There is easy access to the dam from Taylor Road, however the Contractor will need to source an appropriate staging area. The Contractor shall familiarize themselves with the critical dates outlined in the specifications relative to the in-water work restriction to protect fish spawning as the timeline to complete the work is tight.
