Janitorial Services – Grasslands National Park

Requirement:

Parks Canada Agency requires a contractor to provide janitorial services for the following buildings: Visitor Reception Centre/Administration (VRC), Operations Compound offices, and Ecological Integrity (EI) shed. As and when requested cleaning may be required. This contract is for a one year period plus two option years. See Appendix 1 for VRC and Operations Compound schematics and dimension.

Enquiries:

All enquiries of a technical and contractual nature must be submitted in writing to the Contracting Authority as early as possible within the solicitation period.

Enquiries should be received no later than seventeen (17) calendar days prior to the date set for solicitation closing to allow sufficient time to provide a response. Enquiries received after that time may not be answered.

Optional Site Visit:

It is recommended that the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for the site visit to be held at Grasslands National Park on Wednesday September 27, 2017. The site visit will begin at 1:30 PM CST, at the Visitor Reception Centre/Administration Office located at 101 Centre Street, Val Marie, SK.

National Parks Regulations require that all work is to be performed in accordance with the ordinances, laws, rules and regulations set out in the National Park Act.

The requirement is subject to the provisions of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), and The Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA).

This Parks Canada office provides procurement services to the public in English.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
