The National Capital Commission (NCC) is requesting bids from qualified firms for the replacement of the pedestrian/equestrian trail culverts (qty 3) to the east of Eardley Masham Road in Luskville, PQ.
Work under this contract covers the following but is not
limited to:
Replacement of Culverts on Eardley Masham
Pedestrian/Equestrian Trail includes:
.1 Remove existing culvert
.2 Excavate for new culvert
.3 Dewatering structures as required
.4 Supply and Install new culverts
.5 Place granular bedding for new culvert
.6 Install new culvert
.7 Backfill and raise grade as required.
.8 Place rip-rap embankment protection and along
bottom of culverts
.9 Top soil and seed
.10 Other related works
CONSTRUCTION TIME: The Contractor shall perform and complete the Work within six (6) weeks from the date of notification of acceptance of the offer.
Site visit: A NON MANDATORY site visit will be held on Monday, September 25, 2017 at 2pm, EDT. The meeting place will be the Church Hill picnic area (ch. Eardley Masham) off of Hwy 148, Eardley, QC.

All costs incurred by the Bidder to attend the site visit will be at their expense. The NCC will not reimburse any Bidder for expenses related to the site visit.
ENQUIRIES DURING THE SOLICITATION PERIOD: Enquiries regarding this tender must be submitted in writing to the following: Sr. Contract Officer, Allan Lapensée e-mail address – allan.lapensee@ncc-ccn.ca as early as possible within the solicitation period. Except for the approval of alternative materials as described in GI15 of the General Instructions to Bidders, enquiries should be received no later than five (5) calendar days prior to the date set for solicitation closing to allow sufficient time to provide a response. Enquiries received after that time may result in an answer not being provided
