Courseware and Training "Positive Relations and Youth Development" Canadian Cadet Organizations

 OBJECTIVE

Design, develop and deliver a current and relevant educational training package to adults for the Canadian Cadet Organizations (CCO), which includes the Sea, Army and Air Cadets, as well as Junior Canadian Rangers (JCR). This training package will provide the CCO with the tools and resources to build positive relationships with others and to deal with various potential life and adolescent development challenges.

DELIVERABLES:

Curriculum content and training aids, 32 bilingual lessons. Courseware for Youth, ages 12-18, from across Canada and a variety of cultures and environments (rural, urban, remote, isolated and coastal).

Facilitator’s Guide. For adults (military or civilian members) who may or may not have received instructional techniques training, or for senior Cadets (ages 16-18) with limited instructional techniques training.

Courseware Trial in Ottawa, ON. For adult Canadian military members with prior training in instructional techniques.
Adult Training Sessions in 4 Locations across Canada. For adult Canadian military members with prior training in instructional techniques, to familiarize the trainers with the new courseware package and its delivery.
