    Description

    The primary objective of this RFI initiative is to look at gathering information on MFT solutions for their feature sets and how these solutions handle the life cycle of uploading, exchanging, and managing of electronic data with its partners.

    NRCan has gathered requirements from within its different sectors which has helped form a set of requirements that provided the basis of this RFI. NRCan has also conducted surveys and a feasibility assessment for Managed File Transfer.

    To that end, NRCan is seeking responses from industry through this RFI that would help verify capabilities and functionalities offered by any proposed solutions. . NRCan is also seeking to receive feedback, ideas, and suggestions from suppliers to gather additional information in order to strengthen the formation of a future procurement document or Request for Proposal (RFP).

    The main objectives of this RFI are to:

    a) Confirm availability of multiple MFT solutions that have varied and diverse capabilities;

    b) Collect information and suggestions about suppliers’ profiles, pricing and licensing models;

    c) Collect information and suggestions about suppliers’ product capabilities and confirm features availability;

    d) Identify any deployment, technical, or integration aspects that must be considered; and

    e) Help complete the specifications of the identified profiles
