Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO) requires a service provider for the DNA sequencing of biological and environmental samples to support science activities undertaken within the department. DFO currently has various research projects and regulatory programs that require the use of Sanger sequencing and Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) techniques to deliver on these commitments. These services are required on request only, as and when needed.

DURATION OF THE STANDING OFFER
The period for making call-ups against the Standing Offer is from Standing Offer award to March 31, 2018. with option to renew for four (4) additional one (1) year periods.
ENQUIRIES – BID SOLICITATION
All enquiries must be submitted in writing to the Contracting Authority no later than TWO (2) calendar days before the bid closing date. Enquiries received after that time may not be answered.
PROCESS AND SELECTION METHODOLOGY
A bid must comply with all requirements of the bid solicitation to be declared responsive. The responsive bid with the Highest Combined Rating of Technical Merit and Price will be recommended for award of a contract.
SECURITY REQUIREMENTS
There is no security requirement applicable to the Standing Offer.
