Nature of Requirements:
The following is a summary of the statement of work for this requirement.
Correctional Service of Canada (CSC) is looking for a contractor to provide, as and when required, the services of Recovery and recycling of refrigerators and other equipment containing halocarbons.
Objectives: Correctional Service Canada would like to appropriately recycle its equipment containing halocarbons to reduce the environmental impact of taking this equipment out of service. The bidder will be required to ensure that it removes all gases contained in the refrigeration equipment and all polyurethane foam. The bidder will also be required to recycle the other components of the equipment (glass, metal, plastic, mercury and other hazardous materials, etc.).
Deliverables: The bidder will be required to transport and recycle the equipment, and provide written reports.
Term of Contract:
This period for Standing Offer is from December 1st, 2017 until November 30th, 2018. This Standing Offer is for a year, with the possibility of two (2) optional periods of one (1) year.
