Notice of Proposed Procurement
Title: Water Transport Training
Nature of Requirement:
The Royal Canadian Mounted Police has a requirement to provide water transport training to ensure participants receive proper training in marine vessels operation and execution of marine law enforcement duties in accordance with RCMP Course Training Standard (CTS) as well as the competencies required by Transport Canada (TC) for operators of marine vessels. The requirement is for those with previous marine law enforcement experience to provide the training at locations throughout British Columbia. For additional details, please refer to the RFP.
Competitive procurement strategy:
Highest Combined Rating of Technical Merit and Price (70% technical/30% price).
Security:
There is a security requirement, associated with this requirement. For additional information, consult Part 6-Security and Other Requirements, and Part 7-Resulting Contract Clauses.
Trade Agreements:
The requirement is subject to the provisions of the World Trade Organization Agreement on Government Procurement (WTO-AGP), the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) and the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA).
Integrity Provisions:
RCMP has adopted the Integrity Regime administered by PSPC. As a result, the integrity provisions are being applied in RCMP contracting activities as outlined in this solicitation.
