    Nature of Requirements: Collection and Disposal of Surplus Material and Prohibited Goods

    The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) has a requirement to establish a Standing Offer (SO) for the collection and disposal of surplus material and prohibited goods from several RCMP Warehouse locations throughout Canada

    Up to five (5) Standing Offers may be issued as a result of this RFSO. One Standing Offer will be issued per geographical region. The geographical regions are described as the following:

    Region 1: British Colombia

    Region 2: Regina

    Region 3: National Capital Region

    Region 4: Quebec

    Region 5: Nova Scotia

    The Standing Offer(s) will be valid for a period of 1 year from the date of issuance with the option to extend for three additional one-year periods.

    The Crown reserves the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.

    The Ineligibility and Suspension Policy and integrity clauses are being incorporated in RCMP contracting activities as outlined in this solicitation.

    Offers must be submitted only to Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) Bid Receiving Unit by the date, time and place indicated on page 1 of the solicitation.

    Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.

    The solicitation documents contain all the requirements relating to the solicitation. Any other information or documentation provided to or obtained by an offeror from any source are not relevant. Offerors should not assume that practices used under previous contracts will continue, unless they are described in the solicitation. Offerors should also not assume that their existing capabilities meet the requirements of the solicitation simply because they have met previous requirements. It is the Offeror's responsibility to obtain clarification of the requirements contained in the solicitation, if necessary, before submitting an offer.
