Description
By means of the RFP, NRCan is seeking proposals from suppliers to perform a user needs assessment (UNA) and user-centered design (UCD) studies to gather the requirements of Spatial Data Infrastructure (SDI) stakeholders.
It is NRCan’s intention to award up to five (5) contracts for this requirement, as follows:
Contract 1 (A) – Development of one master report
Contract 2 (B.1) – Indigenous Communities – UNA and UCD Eastern Canada
Contract 3 (B.2) – Indigenous Communities – UNA and UCD Western Canada
Contract 4 (B.3) – Indigenous Communities – UNA and UCD Northern Canada
Contract 5 (B.4) – Indigenous Communities – UNA and UCD International Arctic
Note: B.3 and B.4 will also comprise the needs of all northerners living in the Canadian Arctic or in the International Arctic. UCD observations gathered during the consultations will be included in B.1, B.2, B.3 and B.4.
