Nature of Requirements:
The following is a summary of the statement of work for this requirement.
The Correctional Service Canada has a requirement to engage in consultation in regards to medical ethics,
Objectives: Review current situations for inmates concerned in the context of relevant CSC directives, including review, from an ethics perspective, plans of care for inmates with complex medical and behavioural issues, Support staff resilience in handling inmates with complex medical and behavioural issues. Support the development and ethical framework for care planning for inmates with complex medical and behavioural issues
Deliverables: Produce interim reports on the situation of and options for the inmate concerned, Support the draft ethical framework for care planning for inmates with complex medical and behavioral needs, Facilitate case conferences, team reviews of draft ethical framework, staff sessions on :professional and personal ethics and the burdens of care”
