    DEFENCE CONSTRUCTION CANADA (DCC) – #SL17S096 – Janitorial Services, CFB Shilo, Manitoba

    Defence Construction Canada (DCC) is calling for Janitorial Services firms to carry out the required janitorial cleaning services, window cleaning, removal of any accumulated snow or ice at building entries, and specified work for buildings for the Department of National Defence located at CFB Shilo, Manitoba.

    This Janitorial Services Contract requires the Contractor to be responsible for the Janitorial Services of all identified buildings within the defined property limits that will ensure compliance with all regulations, standards and codes throughout the contract term.

    The Contractor will be required to provide Janitorial Services for an initial period ending July 31, 2019.

    If mutually agreeable between the Contractor and DCC, the contract may be extended for one (1) additional one (1) year period ending on July 31, 2020.

    A site visit has been arranged for the following date, time and location. It is highly recommended that Tenderers attend this visit.

    The estimated contract value is in the order of $2,150,000.00 for the initial period. Should the contract be extended for the additional one (1) year extension then the total possible contract value is in the order of $3,950,000.00.

    Tenderers are advised that bid and contract security is required when the advertised budget (estimated cost for this opportunity) is greater than $100,000. Refer to the Instructions to Tenderers (Form DCL193S), paragraph 5.

    This procurement follows tendering procedures in accordance with Chapter 10 of NAFTA.

    The selected contractor will be required to hold a valid Designated Organization Screening (DOS), issued by the Canadian Industrial Security Directorate (CISD), Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC). Details concerning the Security Requirements for this project are identified in the Tender Documents.
