The Request for Proposal (RFP) is issued against the Professional Audit Support Services Supply Arrangement (PASS SA) file number E60ZQ-140002. All terms and conditions of the SA apply and will be incorporated into any resulting contract.

Description of requirement:
The Department of Finance Canada (FIN) requires the services of a Contractor to perform an audit on the Department’s management control framework for Information Technology (IT) governance and IT project management. This audit will also provide recommendations on how existing processes may be improved.
Specifically, the audit will assess whether the:
- IT governance structure is effective;
- degree of alignment and integration between the Department’s IT strategy and its business requirements is optimal;
- project management framework and controls to support the delivery of IT projects are effective, including adequate change management, stakeholder engagement, user testing and acceptance, training; and IT project practices are in compliance with the Departmental IT project methodology and best practices.
Proposed period of contract:
The contract period will be from date of contract award until August 31, 2018.
Request for Proposal (RFP) documents will be e-mailed directly, from the Contracting Officer, to the Qualified Supply Arrangement Holders who are being invited to bid on this requirement.
