PHARMACEUTICAL GRADE WALK-IN REFRIGERATOR AND FREEZER
Description of Requirement
The Canadian Forces Health Services Group (CF H Svcs Gp) plans to establish a competitive contract for procurement, installation, testing and validation of pharmaceutical grade walk-in refrigerators and freezers. The walk-in refrigerators and freezers will be used to store Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) medications and vaccines.
2. OBJECTIVE
The objective of this request for information is to:
2.1. Determine the extent to which there exists a level of interest and expertise in industry to provide the goods and services required to replace current commercial food grade walk-in refrigerator and freezer with pharmaceutical grade walk-in refrigerators and freezers, in whole or part, for CF H Svcs Gp facility in Petawawa.
2.2. Allow respondents to assess and comment on the adequacy and clarity of the requirements as currently expressed.
2.3. Allow respondents to propose alternate methods of performing the work.
2.4. Provide industry with an opportunity to communicate information about the factors that CF H Svcs Gp should take into consideration when planning and developing the replacement strategy.
