    Description

In August 2017, the Prime Minister announced his intention to create two new departments to better align with the Reconciliation agenda, advance self-determination and self-government of Indigenous peoples. Indigenous Services Canada (ISC) and Crown-Indigenous Relations and Northern Affairs Canada (CIRNAC) are the two new departments. The Indigenous and Northern Affairs Canada (INAC) will eventually be abolished.

There is an immediate requirement for professional services for one (1) Senior Procurement Specialist to provide strategic and expert advice on this major transformation agenda, in particular as it relates to procurement and real property.

The proposed period of contract shall be from Contract Award to March 31, 2019, with an irrevocable option to extend up to one (1) additional one-year period. The estimated level of effort of the contract will be for 200 days for the resource.

Only selected TSPS SA Holders currently holding a TSPS SA for Tier 1 in the National Capital Region under the E60ZT-16TSPS series of SAs are invited to compete. SA Holders may not submit a bid in response to this bid solicitation unless they have been invited to do so. However, should an uninvited SA Holder wish to be invited, it may contact the Contracting Authority to request an invitation at any time prior to five (5) working days before the published bid closing date, and an invitation will be made to that SA Holder unless it would not be consistent with the efficient operation of the procurement system. In no circumstance will such an invitation require Canada to extend a bid closing date. The following SA Holders have been initially invited to bid on this requirement. Where additional invitations are made during the bid solicitation process, it may be that they are not reflected in a solicitation amendment.
