    PLUMBING AND HEATING SERVICES

    This requirement is for: The Correctional Service of Canada, CORCAN Construction – Dorchester Penitentiary and Springhill Institution, Atlantic region.

    Trade agreement: Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA).

    Tendering procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid.

    Competitive Procurement Strategy: Lowest priced compliant bid.

    Set-aside under the Procurement Strategy for Aboriginal Business: This procurement is not subject to any set-asides for Aboriginal Suppliers.

    Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: This procurement is not subject to a Comprehensive Land Claims Agreement.

    Security Requirements: This contract does not include security requirements.

    Nature of Requirements: The following is a summary of the statement of work for this requirement.

    The Correctional Service Canada, CORCAN Construction is looking for a contractor to provide as and when requested skilled labour, material, tools and equipment required to perform Plumbing and Heating work, including installations, removals, and repairs relative to new constructions and renovations as specified by the Project Authority on an as requested basis for Dorchester Penitentiary and/or Springhill Institution.

    More than one Standing Offer may be granted for the Plumbing & Heating installation and repair services. The Contractor may bid for one (1) or two (2) institutions, depending on his ability to serve in the designated areas: New-Brunswick and/or Nova Scotia.

    Term of Standing Offer: The period for making call-ups against the Standing Offer Agreement is from date of Standing Offer issuance to three (3) years later.

    After Standing Offer award, bidders may request a debriefing on the results of the bid solicitation process. Bidders should make the request to the Contracting Authority within fifteen (15) working days of receipt of the results of the bid solicitation process. The debriefing may be in writing, by telephone or in person.
