On behalf of the Indigenous Advisory and Monitoring Committee, Natural Resources Canada – Indigenous Project Office-West located in Vancouver, British Columbia is seeking the provision of a Contractor on an as and when requested basis to provide communication support services for the Indigenous Advisory and Monitoring Committee (IAMC) for the Trans Mountain Expansion (TMX) pipeline. Natural Resources Canada requires the services of a Contractor with experience developing and implementing communication and information products (e.g., reporting and planning documents) using a variety of tools, techniques and media and selecting an appropriate medium to convey information, ideas, and results.
The Contractor will be required to collaborate with relevant IAMC stakeholders to select an appropriate medium to convey information, ideas and results, and then create the communications materials (e.g., using desktop publishing such as Adobe InDesign) or other relevant tools to design and layout the documents to create final “print-ready” and “web-ready” versions in accessible PDF or similar format.
The Contractor will be required to handle everything for communication materials from design through to finished print-/web- friendly products. The Contractor will also be required to coordinate and deliver print copies of information products/materials as requested.
All work will be completed on an as and when requested basis, issued through task authorizations.
There are travel requirements associated with this contract. The Contractor must travel to multiple locations in British Columbia and/or Alberta, depending on the requirements of the task (to be determined). Travel locations may include but are not limited to Merritt, British Columbia, Vancouver, British Columbia, and Lac Ste. Anne, Alberta. Travel will be identified in each Task Authorization (TA).
Contractor asset qualifications include experience working on communications projects with Indigenous nations or organizations in British Columbia or Alberta.
