This requirement is for: The Correctional Service Canada (CSC) Employee Assistance Program and the Critical Incident Stress Management programs recognize that employees are the strength and major resource of the Service and that the well-being and productivity of employees can be affected by personal or work-related problems. CSC employees are likely to be involved in critical incidents due to the nature of their work and as such services are provided for support.
Trade agreement: Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA), North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), Canada free trade agreements with Chile/Colombia/Honduras/Panama.
Tendering procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid.
Competitive Procurement Strategy: lowest priced compliant bid.
Set-aside under the Procurement Strategy for Aboriginal Business:
This procurement is not subject to any set-asides for Aboriginal Suppliers.
Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement:
This procurement is not subject to a Comprehensive Land Claims Agreement.
Security Requirements: This contract does not include any security requirements.
Nature of Requirements:
CSC has a requirement for an expert in understanding the psychological and physiological dynamics that impact individuals in a correctional profession. The goal of the session is to aid CSC staff, including correctional officers, other CSC professionals and their families in maintaining and/or improving their quality of life both personally and professionally.
Objective:
The Contractor must provide a one-day workshop including all curriculum design and delivery.
Deliverables:
The Contractor must provide:
- Personal experience in the field of corrections, as described above;
- Guidance to employees on the subjects mentioned in the tasks above;
- A safe and interactive environment for employees to partake in the workshop; and
- An advanced copy of any audiovisual materials or handouts.
Term of Contract:
Period of the Contract: The Work is to be performed from contract award to one year later with the option to renew for three (3) additional one-year periods.

After contract award, bidders may request a debriefing on the results of the bid solicitation process. Bidders should make the request to the Contracting Authority within fifteen (15) working days of receipt of the results of the bid solicitation process. The debriefing may be in writing, by telephone or in person.
