This requirement is for: The Correctional Service of Canada, Port-Cartier and Donnacona Institutions and Marcel-Caron Community Correctional Centre (CCC).
Trade agreement: Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA).
Tendering procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid.
Competitive Procurement Strategy: lowest priced compliant bid.
Set-aside under the Procurement Strategy for Aboriginal Business: This procurement is not subject to any set-asides for Aboriginal Suppliers.
Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: This procurement is not subject to a Comprehensive Land Claims Agreement.
Security Requirements: This contract does not include security requirements.
Nature of Requirements:
The following is a summary of the statement of work for this requirement.
The Correctional Service Canada has a requirement to provide tinsmith (sheet metal work) services on heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems at Port-Cartier and Donnacona Institutions and at Marcel-Caron CCC.
Objectives: Provide, as and when needed, skilled labor, parts, tools, material and all the necessary equipment to perform tinsmith services on heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems.
Deliverables: The Contractor will provide, as and when needed, tinsmith and apprentice tinsmith (level 1) services on heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems at Port-Cartier and Donnacona Institutions and at Marcel-Caron CCC.
Term of Contract: This Standing Offer is for a one (1)-year period, from August 1st, 2018 until July 31st, 2019 inclusively, with the possibility of two (2) additional twelve (12)-months periods.

Bidders should make the request to the Contracting Authority within fifteen (15) working days of receipt of the results of the bid solicitation process. The debriefing may be in writing, by telephone or in person.
