NOTICE OF PROPOSED PROCUREMENT
Amendment 001 raised to provide Question and Answer
The Department of National Defence has a requirement to replace all the wheel assemblies on a fleet of vehicles. The requirement includes the storage the assembly, the testing and the balancing of the final product. The Department of National will provide the following components: quantity of 2500 of tires, quantity of 2500 of alloy wheels and quantity of 2500 of valves as detailed in Annex A – Statement of Work – Assembly and Balancing of wheel, with inflation valve and tire, to be completed by March 31, 2019
Production at the Contractor’s facility must commence within 5 working days of receipt of 100% of the tires, Government Supplied Material (GSM).
Phase delivery to the Contractor facility: DND will deliver to the Contractor facility up to 2500 wheels and valves as a single delivery and 500 tires at a time. Frequency of tire delivery will be agreed upon at the Post-Contract Award meeting.
The Crown retains the rights to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
Debriefings
Bidders may request a debriefing on the results of the bid solicitation process. Bidders should make the request to the Contracting Authority within fifteen (15) working days from receipt of the results of the bid solicitation process. The debriefing may be provided in writing, by telephone or in person.
